Ooo…this is one of those posts I am thankful for because I can totally plagiarize myself. I do not even have to do that. I can just link to the two previous posts on the Immaculate Conception. Woot!
Before I do that, however, let me just clarify that today may or may not be a Holy Day of Obligation for you. It probably is not, unless you have an awesome Bishop who lifted the never-ending dispensation from Mass. If you do have a fab Bish, then congrats and get thee to Mass!
If you are like the rest of the world, then your Bishop probably still has a blanket dispensation from Mass. That means you get a technical “freebie” today. HOWEVER, if you do have access to Mass, get thee to Mass (even if you are dispensed!!). C’mon people! This is the patronal feast day of our Country! Just…go…to…Mass!!
