Tuesday, March 31, 2020 –
Yesterday a new (read: mostly unchanged) executive order was handed down. A lot of people panicked, some cheered, and most everyone didn’t actually read it.
For those who want to follow along at home, you can read each of the executive orders by clicking on the links below:
- Executive Order 51 (March 12, 2020) – Declaring a State of Emergency
- Executive Order 53 (March 23, 2020) – Temporary Restrictions on businesses and gatherings
- Executive Order 55 (March 30, 2020) – “Stay at Home” Order through June 10, 2020
Yes, you still need to maintain social distancing. Yes, you can still go pray at a Church. Yes, you can still go get food, even take out. Yes, you can go to a family member’s house, take food to them, care for them, etc. No, you cannot go camping. Yes, beaches are closed, but you can still go for fishing and exercise (!?).
Basically, not much has changed, but keep washing your hands, stay away from people, be prudent, and carry a fishing pole just in case.
Saint Peter, pray for us!
