In the race to see which gets here sooner—Mr. Flusche’s computer vs. Mrs. Flusche’s long-lost orchard—Mr. Flusche WINS! Woohoo! Kudos to UPS in their victory of package delivery! Although, Mystic Monk Coffee takes the grand prize for always coming through with speedy delivery for our caffeinated needs.
Anyhoo, Mr. Flusche’s laptop was delivered yesterday evening by a very nice UPS man who was tickled pink to learn that his company beat FedEx in a tiny home war of package delivery. FedEx says my orchard is on a USPS truck for delivery today. HOWEVER, USPS has declared unequivocally that they have no such record or package.
And yes, I do chat with our delivery folk. They are quite nice people and do appreciate a good snack and water break. I think this is why Neighbor Dan occasionally grabs our mail and brings it over. He is secretly hoping the snack trolly will be left out for him. HAHA!
