It is the first of a new month! That means it is high-time again for another Monthly Devotional sheet. Woot!
August brings us to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is one of those devotional moths that made a bit more sense in the old (ahem…Latin) calendar. Originally celebrated on August 22nd, ), the memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary is now celebrated on the Saturday after the second Sunday after Pentecost. This new date, of course, varies from year to year because it is now part of the movable feast days.
